Antico modo di trasmissione messo a punto dal Dr.Hell di Kiel (Germania) Ora questo sistema è utilizzato esclusivamente dai radioamatori; parecchi anni fa' era in uso e anche da stazioni cinesi. Vi sono due modalità; sincrona e asincrona e due velocità tipiche 122.5 e 250 Baud.

FAX-like mode in that it was used to send pictures but works more like common RTTY. The Siemans systems used start/stop signalling (FSK) and the Field HELL unit was semi-synchronous. The system was used by the Chinese Internal Press up until about 1993 but is now used by European amateurs on 80m and 40m.
