Sistema di trasmissione Francese di tipo sincrono di recente introduzione derivato dalla precedente versione MK1. Il sistema è basato su l'invio di una sequenza due toni audio selezionati tra una serie di 8 per ogni carattere ITA-2. Ogni tono ha una durata di 37 msec per una velocità di 26.67 Baud, o di 75 mS per una velocità di 13.33 Baud. Nella condizione di IDLE risulta molto facile sintonizzare la stazione, poiché vengono inviati in modo sequenziale i toni estremi 1 e 8.
COQUELET MK 2
Synchronous Simplex MFSK system based on the earlier Coquelet Mk1. Uses direct translation of a 5 unit ITA-2 character into a sequence of two tones out of a total of 8. Each tone lasts either 37½ msecs or 75 msecs therefore Baudrate is either 26.67 or 13.33 Baud. The Idle or Standby condition is represented by tones 1 and 8 alternating, (i.e. the two outside tones) making it very easy to tune into when idling.
